Feeling Down

Lately, mummy has been feeling frustrated and easily get agitated and stressed up over things that mummy used to able to handle.

Mummy can suddenly feel sad and cried out when thinking of grandma especially knowing grandma health is not doing well as she is diagnosed with high blood, diabetes and recently she has difficulty walking. Maybe mummy is just missing home as the last time she went back CNY or she is stressed up with my arrival as she has no idea how is it like and what to expect. Mummy is the type of person who need to know the expectation before hand, she can she can plan and expect that is coming.

Changes in hormones; stress from work and others worries all add up to mummy's roller coaster emotion. As the EDD is getting nearer, mummy start to feel the stress whether she can finished the job at work before go on maternity leave; worries whether she know what to do when the labour comes; whether can make is to the hospital; is daddy with mummy when it happen. How’s the delivery like, scare of the pain and side effects, whether can cope with me, will she gets post natal blue as there are so many rules during confinement and etc… Mummy tried hard to control and takes it slowly, but sometimes it is just out of control.

Every day , mummy is “sian” of what to eat for dinner, get frustrated with the student crowd during lunch and after work crowd as she is taking bus and train and no one is offering seats and mummy need to hold on very hard to the handle as the bus driver nowadays drive recklessly while she is sandwiched with all the students. Sometimes mummy will end up taking cab back as she is too tired and frustrated, however, she tried to reduce it as daddy been constantly remind mummy to save money and etc…

Another 2 more months to go, hopes mummy can “tahan” and daddy can be more encouraging and supportive, the last thing that mummy need is to get agitated, frustrated or stressed. She need to do things calmly and slowly(due to fatigue). Wish grandma can come early to help and accompany mummy and distract her from all this frustration, worries and stress.
