Swimming session with yiyi

Yiyi is in town to attend her MBA course, 2 days after we back from KL. While we in KL, we do not have time to go swim and yiyi make up for me. :)

Previous swim I was only allowed to play at kids pool where the water is around my waistline. This time mummy asked yiyi to bring me to try on the bigger pool and let me float.

I whined initially but later I enjoy it.  Here's some photos and videos that mummy took.

Every Sat morning is marketing day for mummy. Steffie and daddy will go down together to have breakfast as well.


Insist to walk to market instead of in her stroller. My little gal grow up already.

Nowadays when we go IMM, we will try not to let Steffie see the playground first, if not she will keep saying "play,play" while we dine.

She can now play the slide on her own, go up and slide down herself. But daddy need to be there in case she hit on others.

KL & Pulau Ketam Trip (Aug 2011)

Another balik kampung trip after CNY. This time we went back to KL and we have plan one outing to Pulau Ketam - Crab Island, the hometown of 姨丈 Taroy Uncle.

  As usual we took Fireflyz as it fly to Subang airport which is nearer to 姨姨 house.

Daddy & mummy are hungry and we head off to have lunch at Subang Jaya straight from the airport. Mummy can enjoy one of her favourite food, Penang pork noddle. We waited 20 mins for the food, but it is worth it.

After lunch, we head back to Aunty Vivian's home where daddy and mummy take a nap and Popo and Yiyi entertain me as I have my nap during the flight.

Day 2 -daytrip to Pulau Ketam. It is the first time for daddy and mummy too. The trip was great.

Day 3 - Dim Sum for brunch. Afternoon, nap time for me and resting time for daddy as he is not feeling well. Mummy and yiyi? They went Thai body massage at Sunway pyramid and shopping at Jusco.

Weekend enrichment programmer at Zoophonics

Last Sunday is my 1st lesson at Zoophonics toddler class. It is a weekend 1 hour class that mummy enrolled me cause she thinks I should go class to learn something rather than just walk around at home. :P

We are the first to reach as mummy want us to settle down before the class start. Anyway, the class was ok, teacher start the class by singing the welcome song, then later she into story telling, painting and etc.... The class is not that big, around 10 toddler most of them are older than me as the class is mean for kids up to 30 months old. Each of us will be accompany by an adult (daddy, mummy or some even with maid).

The 1 hour is a bit tiring for mum as I am like playing in my own world, first I try on all the chairs in the class. When teaching is telling story, I am wonder around and push the chairs. Mummy so worry that I might hurt other kids, she been following me and stopping me from accidentally hurting the kid while teacher still continuing her story telling. While we doing the art work making the kangaroo, basically mummy is the one who do the work while I am busy passing the crayon to another jie jie.

The class went well as I still behaving myself even though I didn't sit down and listen to teacher but at least I don't get cranky, scream and cry.

Swimming for the 1st time

Yiyi is in town for business trip. She was here a day before and brought me to swim (not really swim but play water) for the first time. It is fun and I hope daddy mummy can bring me swim more often.

I am 1 year old!!!

I am officially a toddler.
Mummy and daddy have a small and simple celebration at aunty Vivian's house at Sunway during the long weekend break. Grandma and Khai Peng xiao yi also came from Ipoh to celebrate together, not forgetting mummy's nephew Kang Jiun.
I have a big "1" cake with Mickey head which daddy, mummy, aunty vivian , uncle taroy and poh poh have very hard time to find. Thanks for getting the mickey for me.
We celebrate Khai Peng xiao yi birthday as well as her birthday is only few days away.
We have steamboat and cake for the dinner. Daddy, mummy and myself enjoy the trip very much. However, mummy can't go massage as planned as I can leave mummy out of my sight.

Well , what can I do at 1 year old?
Hm....

1. I can walk on my own.
2. Eat more solid food.
3. "Dance" and "Shake" very well.
4. Can listen to instructions.
5. Cheeky and "persistent"
6. Have "serious" separation anxiety with mummy, sometimes daddy too.
7. Whine when I can't get things that I want.
   
8. Can wave bye bye, do flying kiss, say "mum mum" and do the "no more" gesture
   
9. I still can't speak properly.
10. I can "scold" and "point"

So sorry that the blog has been neglected. Mummy has been busy and now I am down with flu, cough and fever and has tired out mummy.

During this August, I went back to Msia for the first time ever with daddy and mummy to Vivian yiyi house in Sunway. Initial plan was to go back Po Po's house in Ipoh but Po Po neighbour is having renovation and the noise is too much for me to bare and we meet up Po Po at yiyi place.

The trip was great as there are so many people entertain me. However, we stay at yiyi house most of the time cause daddy fracture his leg during his football game and can't really shopping which required lots of walking, so we stay at home most of the time enjoying home-cooked food and "chasing" HK dramas.

Anyway, Po Po come back with us to SG cause mummy's office is use for YOG village and her company has organized some activities out of office. The working hours is shorter due to the restriction to the village , so Po Po come to help out while mummy is out for the activities and mummy also can accompany Po po more as she is having shorter working hours or work from home.

It has been a great month except that I've caught flu bug and virus. I am now down with flu, cough, fever and diarrahae since last friday. This time the virus is so strong till I have to go visit PD 2 times in 4 days and I still having fever on and off. It has been tough on daddy, mummy and popo as I refuse to take medicine. Everytime medicine feeding time, they try various method to coax/ force me.

Anyway, it has been the 5th day already. My fever still up and down and still have phlegm. I have not recovered but feel better. It has been tough for mummy as she has been taking care of me since Friday till she also falling sick as I only want mummy to sayang most of the time. Po po is going back to Ipoh tommorrow morning and mummy gonna have 1 less people to help out. What to do, popo misses Ipoh home cause she leave home for almost a month.

Mummy, I will get well soon and looking forward to the Raya trip where we will go back to daddy's hometown - Penang!!!
