Steffie's 2nd Birthday celebration in KL (04 Nov 2011 - 07 Nov 2011)

Mummy has been thinking where and how to celebrate my 2 years old birthday this year. Initially wanted to invite grandma, xiao yi and yiyi's family to come SG for the celebration as mummy plan  to have a simple BBQ session. However, yiyi and uncle taroy need to go for their long waited Faye Wong concert and we change our plan and go back to KL instead and have the celebration at KL together with Xiao Yi (her birthday is 2 days apart from me).

Mummy & daddy enjoy the trip as they get to eat their favorite food e.g. Kajang Satay, Seafood, Bak Kut Teh , Dim Sum for breakfast and etc... We have been shopping, eating and mummy went for massage too, all 3 days are fully packed with activities. As for me, I enjoy playing with yiyi's dog "Abby"(Hopy) and the companion from everyone.

At night, we have our birthday celebration dinner at Southsea Seafood restaurant (http://www.southsea.com.my). The food are super yummy, the seafood are so fresh and their cooking style is super yummy. Mummy had her first try of Hairy crab and it is nice. The total bill is RM 533+ for 6 adults. Mummy pay the bill as it is the birthday celebration for me and xiao yi. We will come back again next time!!!

 

I have a red packet from popo, gold chain from xiao yi and  "Ladyship" essence extractor from Yiyi and uncle Taroy for mummy to make nutritious fresh juice for me.

Steffie fav food - wolf berries & double-boiled soup

Mummy has been cooking every week and will try to have double boiled soup cause Steffie just love double-boiled soup. She doesn't like to eat meat (fish, pork or chicken), nanny aunty have to cook and mix the meat till she didn't notice and eat together with her fav food. 

However, she loves veggie especially green veggie that is crunchy like celery, french bean, broccoli...

And the food that she love the most is wolf berries and doubled boiled soup. Sometimes nanny aunty will use wolf berries to "cheat" her to eat her rice and fish that has mixed in her meal. 

Steffie seems to take after mummy's taste bud cause she love double-boiled soup and you can't cheat her with the instant boiled soup. She can drink almost a bowl of soup during dinner.

Yiyi is in town to attend her MBA course, 2 days after we back from KL. While we in KL, we do not have time to go swim and yiyi make up for me. :)

Previous swim I was only allowed to play at kids pool where the water is around my waistline. This time mummy asked yiyi to bring me to try on the bigger pool and let me float.

I whined initially but later I enjoy it.  Here's some photos and videos that mummy took.

Every Sat morning is marketing day for mummy. Steffie and daddy will go down together to have breakfast as well.


Insist to walk to market instead of in her stroller. My little gal grow up already.

Think she is too bored at home. She took the big care bear out, wristling, hugged and put it back....

Nowadays when we go IMM, we will try not to let Steffie see the playground first, if not she will keep saying "play,play" while we dine.

She can now play the slide on her own, go up and slide down herself. But daddy need to be there in case she hit on others.

KL & Pulau Ketam Trip (Aug 2011)

Another balik kampung trip after CNY. This time we went back to KL and we have plan one outing to Pulau Ketam - Crab Island, the hometown of 姨丈 Taroy Uncle.

  As usual we took Fireflyz as it fly to Subang airport which is nearer to 姨姨 house.

Daddy & mummy are hungry and we head off to have lunch at Subang Jaya straight from the airport. Mummy can enjoy one of her favourite food, Penang pork noddle. We waited 20 mins for the food, but it is worth it.

After lunch, we head back to Aunty Vivian's home where daddy and mummy take a nap and Popo and Yiyi entertain me as I have my nap during the flight.

Day 2 -daytrip to Pulau Ketam. It is the first time for daddy and mummy too. The trip was great.

Food that we ate - Steam crab, Kam Heong crab, Kung Po Mantis prawn, clams and fish ball. We have to finish the food fast and rush for the last boat out from the island at 6pm.

Day 3 - Dim Sum for brunch. Afternoon, nap time for me and resting time for daddy as he is not feeling well. Mummy and yiyi? They went Thai body massage at Sunway pyramid and shopping at Jusco.
